Travel time from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to Sigiriya is approximately 3.5–4 hours. Child seats are available on request. Standard hotel check-in is from 2:00 PM; early check-in is subject to availability.

Climbing Sigiriya Rock involves around 1,200 steps; start early to avoid the midday heat. Wear comfortable shoes, carry water and sun protection, and note that shoulders and knees should be covered at the site. The cooking class can be adapted for children and dietary needs.

The Minneriya jeep safari usually runs in the afternoon for 3–4 hours. Bring binoculars, a hat and sunscreen; child-friendly jeeps are arranged.

Travel time from Sigiriya to Kandy via Matale is approximately 3 hours including the spice garden stop. Spice garden visits are free to enter; purchases of spices and herbal products are optional.

Modest dress is required at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic: shoulders and knees must be covered and shoes removed before entering. The Kandyan cultural dance show usually starts around 5:00 PM.

Travel time from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya is approximately 3–4 hours with stops on winding mountain roads; motion-sickness remedies are recommended for children. Nuwara Eliya is cool (around 12–20°C), so pack warm layers.

Evenings in Nuwara Eliya can be chilly, so bring jackets for the family. Boating on Gregory Lake and the optional strawberry farm visit are at additional cost. Afternoon mist and light rain are common.

Travel time from Nuwara Eliya to Ella is approximately 2.5–3 hours by road. The optional scenic train (Nanu Oya to Ella) depends on ticket availability and train schedules, which can be delayed; your chauffeur will meet you at Ella station.

Visit Nine Arch Bridge early in the morning for fewer crowds and a chance to see the train cross. The Little Adam's Peak hike takes about 45 minutes each way and is suitable for most children. Wear good walking shoes.

This is a free day with no fixed schedule. Zipline and adventure activities are optional, at extra cost, and have minimum age and weight limits. Spa treatments at the resort can be booked in advance.

Travel time from Ella to Weerawila near Yala is approximately 2.5–3 hours. The resort sits beside a lake and wetland, so you may spot birds and wildlife from the grounds. Keep insect repellent handy in the evening.

The early morning safari departs around 5:00 AM and lasts about 4 hours; a packed breakfast can be arranged. Wear neutral-coloured clothing and bring binoculars.

Travel time from Yala to Unawatuna via Galle is approximately 3.5–4 hours. Galle Fort is best explored on foot in the late afternoon; carry sun protection. Sea swimming conditions vary, so follow lifeguard and flag advice.
